At the Flower Bin we carry hundreds of herbs sure to surprise, delight and inspire the chef within. We carry many medicinal herbs as well, and our selection is extensive throughout the year so that you can enjoy herbs indoors in the winter and in the summer garden!

Have Fun With Herb Pots!

Space or not, you just want a beautiful and useful pot.  Herb gardens in a pot are fun, beautiful and useful!  They can be for inside or out.
You'll need a container with drainage.  You can use ceramic, terra cota or plastic pots.  Be creative and use a basket lined with burlap or maybe a pail.  Purchase a good quality of potting soil like the soil that The Flower Bin carries.  Don't forget you will need to feed the herb pot.
Now comes the hard part, selecting the herbs and edible flowers you'll use in planting your herb pot.  You might plant the herbs you use the most, or maybe Italian herbs, Mexican herbs, salad herbs or tea herbs.  It's also fun to make an herb garden for your cat.  Another very useful herb pot is to make one to repel insects.  Or you might just choose lavendars to just enjoy the small and the flowers.
The Flower Bin has all the supplies you'll need and a selection of over 100 herbs to choose from.  Don't forget, we are here with any questions you might have!
